The money book for whoever collects for the group.
You book the courts, buy the birdies and chase everyone at the end of the month. Kanakku keeps the accounts, so every balance is right and everyone can see why.
Check before saving
| Raj | Birdies | $3.34 |
| Logan | Birdies | $3.33 |
| Tom | Birdies | $3.33 |
How it works
- 1. Tell it what happened
Type or say it: “Today: Raj, Logan, Tom. 4 birdies at 2.50.” Or use the form.
- 2. Check the card
Every row is shown before anything is saved. Nothing changes until you confirm.
- 3. Share one link
Players see their balance and every line behind it. No app, no sign-up.
- 4. Remind in one tap
Every player has a Remind bell. It opens WhatsApp with the message written (“Hi Raj, you're at $78.50…”). You pick the chat and send.
What players see
One link for the whole group, pinned in your chat. Everyone sees every balance, and taps a name to see each session, payment and credit behind it. No app to install, nothing to sign up for.
Share it from Settings. Make a new one any time; the old one stops working.
Balances as of today. Tap a name to see how it adds up.
What it does
- Season passes and drop-ins
Pass holders pay once; drop-ins pay per visit. Drop-in money can refund absent pass holders, automatically.
- Fair to the cent
Costs split in whole cents, with the odd cent rotating so nobody always pays it.
- Mistakes never erase history
Fix a session or undo a payment and the original stays, reversed. Every balance can be explained.
- Ask, don't scroll
“How much does Raj owe?” “Who's over the limit?” Answers come straight from the ledger.
- Change it in plain words
“And Logan was a drop-in.” “Raj didn't play.” One card shows the corrected session.
- Bring your balances
Moving from Splitwise or a spreadsheet? Start each player with what they owe today.
Who it's for
Anyone who fronts the money for a regular group and gets paid back: a badminton or football club, a carpool, a shared flat, a weekly dinner, a tiffin rota. Built first for a Saturday badminton group.
